Ivy International School inaugurated its Annual Carnival 2025 today under the unifying theme, “Celebration of Self Expression.” Far more than a traditional fair, the event transformed the school grounds into a dynamic platform for young scholars to showcase their creativity, cultural talent, nascent leadership, and hard-won academic achievements.
DIGNITARIES AND LEADERSHIP
The carnival was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Virender Sharma, IAS, the esteemed Labour Commissioner-cum-Director Employment, Himachal Pradesh. He was joined by a distinguished assembly of guests, including:

The event was presided over by the venerable Chairman, Mr. Vishal Chauhan, Director, Mrs. Chandresh Chauhan, and Principal, Mr. Mandeep Rana. They, alongside other dignitaries, commended the students’ vibrant enthusiasm and talent, urging them to embrace the core virtues of #Diligence, #Integrity, and #Courage as the foundation for genuine success.
CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA: A KALEIDOSCOPE OF TALENT
The stage became a dazzling amphitheater for a spectacular Cultural Extravaganza performed entirely by the students.
Rhythmic Mastery (Dance & Drama): Performances showcased incredible range, from the grace of Ganesh Vandana and classical Kathak, to modern energy in acts like “Toca Toca,” regional flavor with Garba and a Punjabi Dance. Historical narratives were powerfully conveyed in the Chhatrapati Shivaji Dance Plus Drama, while the Chitrhar Drama and a creative Chair Dance performance ensured a visual feast.
Aural Delights (Music): The sonic tapestry featured the soulful resonance of Sufi Songs and Qawwali, the folk charm of a beautiful Himachali Folk Song and Punjabi Tappe, and contemporary flair in the Old Song Remix and a charged Rap Song.
CARNIVAL ZONES: FUN, FOOD, AND FROLIC
The campus was alive with student-masterminded interactive engagement, reflecting strong organizational skills:
Fun & Games Zone: The interactive symposium of amusement featured stalls spanning skill and chance, including SpinToWin, HitThePyramid, RingTheBottle, and the adventurous JungleSafari.
Food Fiesta : The food court was a gastronomic gala, offering a mosaic of savoury and sweet delights, featuring popular items like Dahi Bhalla, Chhole Bhature, Hakka Noodles, iceCream, and GulabJamun.
PRIZE DISTRIBUTION: THE APEX OF ACHIEVEMENT
The ceremony celebrated the students’ remarkable competitive success beyond the school walls. Ivy International School cemented its reputation as a juggernaut of excellence, notably clinching the prestigious Overall Winner Trophy at the #NegotiumAgonFest in Mussoorie. Further accolades included First Position in the #InterSchoolDanceCompetition, #InterSchoolNatureQuiz, and both #BharatKoJano events, along with a Commendation Award at #EDMUN2025.
Dr. Virender Sharma, IAS, congratulated the students and imparted a stirring challenge, urging them to confront obstacles with unshakeable confidence, remain anchored in core values, and assiduously cultivate leadership qualities while striving for excellence in all fields.
The event concluded with the school Principal’s speech affirming the school’s steadfast commitment to perpetual excellence. Day 1 of the Annual Carnival 2025 was a magnificent affirmation of creativity, communal harmony, and unrelenting achievement—the Spectacle of Self-Expression has begun.
