Nahan, December 11 – The state government is providing students with quality, modern, value-based, and vocational education, under which students from classes 9th to 12th in government schools across the state are being taught vocational subjects in addition to other subjects.
The Principal of Government Senior Secondary School, Jabal Ka Bagh, Ajit Chauhan, said that from this academic session, 19 students of classes 9th and 11th are also studying the Telecom subject, which is being taught along with other subjects. This is helping to encourage the students’ skills. He informed that students of this subject are given a special course under On-the-Job Training (OJT).
Ajit Chauhan said that 10 students of class 11th from Jabal Ka Bagh are participating in a four-day training program under OJT from December 9th to 12th. He informed that on December 9th and 10th, these students were given detailed information on computer subjects, including hardware, software, cybercrime, cybersecurity and safety, and artificial intelligence by Assistant Professor Sachin Pandit at Government Post Graduate College, Nahan.
Telecom trainer Punita Sharma said that today, the students were given information about microwave, optical fiber, internet, OTDR, and other telecommunication equipment at Neo Communication, Naya Bazar, Nahan, and on December 12th, the students will also be given training related to the Telecom subject under on-the-job training.
