*Employees interest top priority of BJP:- Suresh Kashyap*
Bharatiya Janata Party’s Retired Employees Cell meeting was organized at BJP Headquarters Deepakmal Chakkar. The program was presided over by Ghanshyam Sharma, former President of the Employees Federation. BJP in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna, State President Suresh Kashyap and urban development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj were present on the occasion. The meeting was important in this context as the top leadership listened carefully to the suggestions of the employees and assured their solution. It is well known that employees play an important role in elections in Himachal Pradesh. BJP President Suresh Kashyap said that the BJP government has given top priority to the employees and their interests. He said that we have sympathetically considered and resolved all the demands of the employees and resolved the issues pending for decades in the last five years.
Urban development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj said that we have been trying for a long time to protect the interests of the employees and the Jairam government is very serious in this direction. He said that the BJP governments have taken care of employee interest in the past and is the only government which takes care of the interests of the employees and has the capacity to resolve their pending demands.
On this occasion, BJP in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna told that Jai Ram government has announced to release the first installment of arrears. Which is payable to employees and pensioners since 2016. The first installment of pending arrears will be issued to lakhs of employees of the state, the notification of which has been issued. Similarly, pending arrears are also being issued to pensioners. This will benefit 2.25 lakh employees and 1.90 lakh pensioners of the state.
He told that the BJP government has given high grade pay to the employees, which was a long-standing demand of the employees. The BJP government has issued the UGC 7th Pay Scale to the teachers of colleges and universities. Due to which 3200 professors and Astt. professors have benefited. who are employed in colleges and universities.
Even during the Corona period, Jairam Sarkar has made timely payment of full salary to the employees and pensioners. Which is remarkable throughout the country. He said that BJP will form a strong government with the cooperation of the employees.
Avinash Rai Khanna said that we understand the pain of the pensioners and are trying to find solutions to their problems. Pension is the means of livelihood of the retired employees and this right will always be protected. Employees are an integral part of the government and no government can be imagined without you. BJP’s intention and policy is clear and we have come to work and will work for the betterment welfare of all employees in the state .
