Jaypee University marked India’s 77th Republic Day with a disciplined and dignified NCC Republic Day Parade organised on campus. The programme was conducted with full decorum and strict adherence to institutional standards.
The celebration commenced at the Swami Vivekananda Statue premises, where the National Flag was unfurled by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Rajendra Kumar Sharma. This was followed by a salute by the NCC cadets and the collective singing of the National Anthem, creating a strong atmosphere of patriotism.
In his address, the Vice-Chancellor highlighted the significance of discipline, leadership, patriotism, and national service, encouraging cadets to actively contribute towards the nation’s progress and development.
The programme witnessed the presence of Lt. (Dr.) Pragya Gupta, along with heads of departments, faculty members, security staff, and a large number of students. JCO Sanjiv Kumar from 1 HP Battalion NCC, Solan, also remained present during the ceremony.
Patriotic songs and poems added to the national fervour, and the event concluded with a group photograph followed by refreshments.
