The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) at Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) successfully organized Innovate to Heal, an ideathon aimed at inspiring students to develop innovative solutions for critical healthcare challenges. The event, themed “Preventive and Curative Healthcare for the Future,” encouraged participants to present groundbreaking ideas in various sub-domains, including Technology in Preventive Healthcare, Mental Health Awareness and Innovations, Healthcare Delivery to Remote Areas, and Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Healthcare Practices.
A total of 40 teams, comprising over 100 participants from different parts of the country, showcased their innovative solutions. The ideathon fostered dynamic discussions, underlining the significance of advancing healthcare through technology and sustainable practices. A panel of ten experts evaluated the entries and selected the top four ideas, which were awarded cash prizes in recognition of their ingenuity and impact.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Anupriya Kaur, Dr. Vikas Baghel, Dr. Nishant Jain, Dr. Rishi Rana, and Dr. Ranjith Kallyani, along with student coordinators Krishna Pratap Singh, Raghav Agarwal, Arin Choudhary, and Baudhik Madan.
JUIT’s commitment to fostering innovation in healthcare was evident through the ideathon, reinforcing the university’s role as a hub for research and technological advancements aimed at creating a healthier future.
