Promote Innovation & Entrepreneurship
Solan, February 23: The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Jaypee University of Information Technology successfully concluded the second edition of “Innovate to Excel”, held from February 20 to 22, 2026, at the university campus in Himachal Pradesh. The three-day program aimed to foster innovation-driven thinking, promote entrepreneurship awareness, and enhance intellectual engagement among students.
The event commenced with a formal inaugural session under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Prof. R.K. Sharma. The program was coordinated by Prof. Tiratha Raj Singh, Associate Dean (Innovation), along with Prof. Ashish Rohilla and Dr. Saurabh Srivastava, who emphasized the importance of cultivating a robust innovation ecosystem and strengthening industry–academia collaboration. The organizers also acknowledged the consistent support of Shri Manu Bhaskar Gaur, CEO, JUIT, for encouraging innovation-led initiatives.
A key highlight of the event was the keynote address by Ritika Singh, CEO and Founder of Kontent Factory, who shared valuable insights on digital entrepreneurship and innovation-based business models.
Another keynote was delivered by Sandeep Jain, CEO and Founder of GeeksforGeeks, who spoke about startup culture, skill enhancement, and building scalable technology ventures.

The valedictory session featured a keynote by S.K. Arora, CEO of AppSmart, who addressed the importance of industry readiness and transforming innovative ideas into impactful business solutions. The Registrar of JUIT also graced the ceremony and appreciated the efforts of the organizers and participants.
A special acknowledgment was extended to the Student Council for ensuring smooth coordination and active participation throughout the event.
Overall, “Innovate to Excel” 2026 significantly strengthened students’ confidence, leadership qualities, and creative thinking abilities, reaffirming JUIT’s commitment to nurturing an innovation-driven academic ecosystem in the region.
