CONCEPT CATALYST – IDEATHON
On October 9, 2023, JUIT hosted the “Concept Catalyst, Ideation’23” event in collaboration with IEEE, TIEDC, ACM, and the Technical and Photography Club, amidst the swiftly changing technological world. The occasion proved to be a shining example of innovation, especially in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT). This event drew a wide spectrum of IT enthusiasts, from novices entering the field to seasoned professionals with a depth of expertise. A diverse range of concepts, ranging from advanced health monitoring systems to innovative smart agricultural solutions, were showcased by the participants. Every project represented a distinct vision, prepared to take on real-world difficulties head-on. Concept Catalyst’s real value was discovered in its captivating pitch sessions, as individuals and groups took the stage to fervently discuss how their concepts may have a significant positive impact on society. It was more than simply an Ideathon; the participants engaged in a healthy rivalry as a result of the competition. Concept Catalyst was more than just an event in an era of creativity; it was a monument to the strength of ideas and the promise of IoT to create a better future. Prof. K.K. Aggarwal, the former chairman of the NBA, Prof. R.K. Sharma, the Vice Chancellor of JUIT, Prof. Ashok Gupta, the Dean (A&R), Prof. Shruti Jain, the Associate Dean (Innovation), Prof. Vivek Sehgal, head of CSE & IT, Prof. Ashish Kumar, head of CE and Prof. Rajiv Kumar, head of ECE judged the event.
