On 29th October 2023, the cadets of Jaypee University of Information technology embarked on a twofold mission that combined adventure with social responsibility.
The day began with a spiritual offering to Gambarashwra temple nested amidst of serene hill and river. As the cadets gathered with full enthusiasm and high spirit to conquer nature challenge, beauty and their responsibility towards the nature.
The cadets reached the Gambarashvara Shiv Tample pumping station where they first offer their pray to Lord Shiva. Along the way they encountered a diverse range of flora and fauna. After that the cadets showed their enthusiasm and energy to clean the environment and the river sight.
All cadets then gathered their energy to proceed further in the task. Now were the most thrilling and adventurous part. The cadets began to trek through rugged terrains, leading them to phase 1 pumping station from where water is supplied to JUIT. Along the way a drive of cleaning the forest and the river edge is also conducted. Then they also visited the pumping station for the university and get some knowledge about how the pumping station works.
The NCC cadets’ day was a remarkable blend of adventure, spirituality and social responsibility. The task of cleaning the river and the pumping station was a success. They not just cleaned the river but explored the beauty of nature along with diverse range of flora and fauna.
This multiple purpose event showcased the cadets enthusiasm and concern towards the nature and dedication to personal growth and community engagement.
CTO Dr. Amit Kumar Jakhar, Lt. Pragya Gupta and PI Jai lal accompanied the motivated cadets to volunteers to give their best for the social cause. JUIT organizes different kind of social awareness activities to make our youth more responsible and accountable.
