Solan
The ClearVision Challenge: Image and Video Dehazing Competition, organized by the Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence for Education (CoE-AIE), JUIT, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, from 23 September to 11 October 2024, aimed to inspire participants to develop innovative solutions for dehazing images and videos. The competition, coordinated by faculty members Dr. Hari Singh, Dr. Vipal Sharma, Prof. Tirath Raj Singh, and Prof. Shruti Jain, along with M.Tech. (DS) student coordinators Mr. Kunal and Mr. Robinson, attracted 14 teams of students from various academic levels.
The evaluation took place on 11 October 2024, where participants presented their work. The prize distribution ceremony was held on 18 October 2024, marking the successful conclusion of the event.

First Place: Team NPCs Second-year students: Saransh, Saarvi, and Nandini
Second Place: Final-year student: Om Vishal
Third Place: Team Deep Fried Neurons Third-year students: Ramandeep and Aditya
In the concluding remarks by faculty coordinators, students were asked to do more work towards the implementation of new technologies and to refine their own results in near future. The event was concluded with a positive message that technology driven applications in the areas of image and video dehazing will provide effective and robust solutions.
