On 27th November 2025
The Eighth International Conference on Image Information Processing (ICIIP–2025) is scheduled to be held from 27th to 29th November 2025 at Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat. ICIIP is a biennial international conference sponsored by IEEE and has been hosted by JUIT since 2011. Over the years, the conference has developed into a distinguished platform that brings together global academicians, researchers, scientists, and industry professionals contributing to areas such as Image Processing, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, and computational imaging sciences. The 2025 edition is anticipated to continue this academic legacy and serve as an impactful milestone in the advancement of intelligent imaging technologies.
The theme for ICIIP–2025, “Transforming Lives Through Intelligent Image Processing,” emphasizes the expanding role of imaging technologies in modern society. The theme reflects the growing influence of intelligent imaging in healthcare, robotics, digital forensics, autonomous systems, human–computer interaction, and emerging computational frameworks. It encourages contributions that highlight innovation, real-world applicability, and interdisciplinary perspectives. ICIIP–2025 received more than 820 research paper submissions, with an estimated acceptance rate of sixteen percent, ensuring high academic selectivity. Participants from over twenty countries, including India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Israel, Malaysia, Norway, Turkey, China, Poland, the UAE, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Russia, and Jordan, have shown interest in contributing. The conference will also include participation from major IITs, NITs, IIITs, international universities, research laboratories, and defence scientific establishments, strengthening its academic diversity.
Financial assistance for the event will be provided by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF). Technical support will be extended by IEEE, IEEE Computer Society, MathWorks, and DesignTech Systems. Additionally, prominent industry partners such as IBM, Dell, C-DAC, MassMutual, Capgemini, and Avast will contribute through expert talks, workshops, and knowledge-sharing engagements. The conference will feature keynote sessions by eminent experts, including Prof. Richa Singh (IIT Jodhpur), Prof. Benoît Macq (University of Louvain), Mr. Prashant Tiwari (DRDO), Dr. Sriparna Saha (IIT Patna), Prof. L. D. Behera (IIT Mandi), and Dr. Abhinav Dhall (Monash University, Australia). Their lectures will address advanced research themes such as biometrics, medical imaging, surveillance intelligence, deep learning methodologies, neural computation, affective computing, and human behavioural analysis.
ICIIP–2025 is anticipated to encourage high-impact research contributions, inspire young scholars, enhance international collaboration, and strengthen connections between academia and industry. The conference is positioned to contribute meaningfully to future advancements in intelligent imaging and AI-driven technological development. ICIIP–2025 promises to be a landmark academic event, strengthening JUIT’s reputation as a centre of research and innovation. With extensive international participation, strong institutional partnerships, and a forward-looking thematic focus, the conference is expected to significantly benefit the research community and support the evolution of intelligent image processing as a transformative technological field.
