A World Water Day Awareness Campaign was organized on 22nd March 2025 by Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), JUIT to highlight the importance of water conservation and sustainable management. The event commenced with a rally from the bus stop to the main market, then to Lower Waknaghat and Bisha village, where participants raised slogans advocating for water conservation. Engaging with local residents, the team emphasized strategies to minimize water wastage and ensure access to clean water.
Later, the members visited the Gram Panchayat Waknaghat, where they met with the gram Pradhan to deliberate on community-level water conservation initiatives and address pressing concerns such as water scarcity, pollution, and inefficient management.
With active participation from volunteers and strong community support, the campaign successfully reinforced the urgency of responsible water usage.
