One Day workshop on “Advances in Biotechnology and Chemistry innovations” was organized by Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat on 18th September 2025. 45 participants from Rajiv Gandhi Govt. Degree College Chaura Maidan Shimla participated in the workshop.
The event was inaugurated by Prof. Jata Shankar, HOD of the Department and this event was coordinated by Prof. Poonam Sharma, Prof. Hemant Sood and Dr. Ashok Kumar. This workshop is also training activity under MOU signed between Jaypee University of Information Technology waknaghat and Rajiv Gandhi Govt. Degree College Chaura Maidan Shimla.
