Waknaghat, February 11
Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) has further strengthened its global academic footprint as students secure placements in prestigious U.S. universities under accelerated master’s and exchange programs.
Under its newly launched Accelerated Master’s Program with South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (SD Mines), selected B.Tech students now have the opportunity to complete their final semester in the United States and transition directly into a fast-track Master’s degree. The program allows meritorious students to begin research in their eighth semester, undertake advanced coursework, and become eligible for tuition fee coverage.
As part of this initiative, Pragati Pandey (Delhi) and Nidhi Kapatia (Amritsar), both B.Tech Biotechnology students from JUIT’s Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, have joined the laboratory of Prof. Rajesh Sani, Distinguished Professor and Director (MASON) at SD Mines, gaining advanced research exposure through international collaboration.
In another milestone, Satvik from Mandi, a final-year B.Tech Computer Science Engineering student, has joined University of Florida under the Student Exchange Program, further enhancing JUIT’s global academic presence.
The initiative has been driven by the visionary leadership of CEO Manu Bhaskar Gaur and Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajendra Kumar Sharma. Congratulating the students, Dean (Research & Internationalization) Prof. Sudhir Syal termed the achievement a proud moment for the university and a testament to its growing international partnerships.
