A 17 years boy brutally murderer his father in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh on Monday evening.
According to the police the deceased is 45-year-old Vineet alias Sonu Dixit, brother of the former Deputy Pradhan, and working in Fortis hospital Kangra.
Police said as the murder was taken inside the house, and no one was there in house. While investigating, we found that the sons of the deceased is absconding since the murder and his phone is also switched off. His bike was also missing so all suspect on him, they added.
SHO said the police team has left for Jalandhar in Punjab at night to catch the son of the deceased. The police has arrested the accused and is being brought to Dharamshala. The reasons for the murder will be revealed only after questioning the accused.
It is being told that the son of the deceased Vineet Dixit studies in class 11th and he is 17 years old. The reason behind the murder has not been revealed yet. Police say that the accused is being brought to Dharamshala and he will be questioned. Only after that the real reasons for the murder will be revealed.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Vineet alias Sonu Dixit, who was working in Fortis Hospital Kangra. At the time of the incident, only Vineet and his 17-year-old son were present in the house. Initial investigation has revealed that the accused first shot the father on the head with a single barrel gun, due to which he died on the spot. After this, the accused separated the head from the torso with a sharp weapon.
The neighbour told when the former deputy pradhan brother of the deceased opened the door of the house at around 5 pm on Monday evening, he was stunned to see the scene inside. The body was lying soaked in blood in the room and the walls were stained with blood. After the incident, the accused son was missing from the house, his mobile phone was switched off and the motorcycle was also not found. On this basis, the police suspected him.
Local people told that Vineet’s relationship with his first wife was not good and she was living separately. Later Vineet married a woman from Gurdaspur, Punjab, but the son lived with his father. There are various discussions in the area since the incident, many people are linking this incident to intoxication or mutual dispute.
Looking at the seriousness of the case, a special team was formed under the leadership of ASP Dharamshala Hitesh Lakhanpal. With the help of technical evidence and sources, the police traced the accused and caught him in Jalandhar late night. At present, the accused is being brought to Dharamshala and after interrogation the real reason of the murder will be revealed.
