Kinnaur police caught a big consignment of 2 kg 160 grams of hashish

Reckong Peo Police has achieved great success in the special campaign launched by Kinnaur Police against drug addiction in the district. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed under Police Station Reckong Peo got this big success when the team recovered 2 kg 160 grams of charas from a person of Nepali origin near Ralli on National Highway-5. It has been told that the address of the said person of Nepali origin is Tokendra Saski alias Laxman son of Mahesh, resident of village 8/20 Kot, police station Khalang, District Rukum Nepal, age 30 years.
Kinnaur Superintendent of Police Abhishek Shekhar said that Kinnaur Police is committed to making the district drug free and under the special campaign to end the drug mafia, the police has been catching the drug mafia from time to time and taking legal action against them.
He said that in this regard, a case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (ND&PS Act) at Reckong Peo police station and further action is being taken. This type of campaign for drug prevention by the District Police will continue in future also.
