Manjyat, Arki: Lakshay Convent School in Manjyat Arki on 8th July enthusiastically celebrated Van Mahotsav today, July 8, 2025, under the poignant theme ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ (A Tree in the Name of Mother). The initiative aimed to foster a deep connection between students, their families, and nature. The plants were taken from Forest Department Range Officer Arki.
The event’s highlight was the presence of Mr. P.L. Gupta, who personally gifted a sapling to every Scout and Guide present. Mr. Gupta urged the students to plant these saplings at their homes, nurturing them alongside their families, instilling a sense of responsibility and environmental stewardship. In a gesture of appreciation for their dedication, plants were also presented to the entire school staff.
The ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ theme resonated strongly with the participants, emphasizing the nurturing and life-giving qualities of both mothers and trees. The event successfully encouraged environmental consciousness and community participation in tree plantation efforts, leaving a lasting impact on the students and staff of Lakshay Convent School.
