Where the students played games, spent quality time in the lap of the lush green forests of Badirdhar and learned about the history of the Dev Sthal Badirdhar that Badirdhar was a part of District Mahasu (now Shimla) till 1972, which earlier came under Arki (Bhagal) Tehsil, later in 1972 it became District Solan and it was merged into Solan District.

A temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is located here, the local people call him Badadev and this peak is also named after him.
