The continuous torrential rain has increased the difficulties of the people in the rural areas of Bilaspur district. In Pehlwana village of Gram Panchayat Bholi of Naina Devi assembly constituency, the ground of the houses of many families has started sinking.
Villagers said that it has been raining continuously for the last four days, due to which big cracks have appeared in the fields and cracks have also appeared in the walls of the houses. Amar Nath, a resident of the village, said that his house has also come under threat. The rear part of the house has completely sunk. Panchayat representatives have also inspected the spot and assessed the damage.
At the same time, the affected family has appealed to the administration to provide relief to the affected families on time. Villagers say that if the rain continues like this, many houses may collapse. At the same time, the crops in the fields are also on the verge of being completely ruined. People have demanded immediate relief and compensation from the administration.
