In the Shimla region, it has been pouring nonstop for twenty-two hours. Landslides are occurring throughout the district as a result of the intense rainfall. The district’s severe rains have caused several highways to become blocked. Additionally, Kotkhai tehsil had a landslide that claimed the life of an old woman. A landslide engulfed a home in Kotkhai tehsil’s hamlet of Chol. Kalavati, an old woman, became trapped in the landslide’s rubble. The old woman was unable to be saved despite the efforts of the locals. After being buried beneath the rubble, the woman passed away.
