Sukhu government has given a big shock to the ration cardholders of Himachal Pradesh. Sukhu government has cut the quota of flour available at ration depots of Himachal. This cut will have a direct impact on the pocket of the common man.
Sukhu government has taken this decision for APL ration card holders. Due to this cut, resentment is being seen among lakhs of ration card holders of the state. Especially when inflation is already becoming a burden on the pocket of the common man.
Sukhu government has taken this decision for APL ration card holders. APL consumers used to get 14 kg of flour from the ration depot earlier, but now it has been reduced by one kg. That is, now only 13 kg flour will be given.
Consumers say that the reduction of one kg flour may seem minor, but when there is already pressure on the household budget, then this is also a big blow. They say that this month the situation is not clear about mustard oil and gram dal in the depots. They are confused whether these essential items will be available to them this time as well like last month.
Last month, mustard oil could not reach most of the depots, due to which consumers had to buy oil from the market at higher rates. The same situation was with gram dal. Due to non-availability of dal in the depots, middle class and low income families had to face a lot of trouble.
Although the flour quota has been reduced, no change has been made in the supply of rice. As before, every ration card holder will get six kg of rice.
