Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN today addressed all the employees on the auspicious occasion of Diwali at Corporate Headquarters, Shimla.
Nand Lal Sharma wished all a Happy Diwali and said the festival marks victory of good over evil, light over darkness and is a time for celebration with friends and family. “Diwali conveys that everyone should let good thoughts prevail in all aspects of our life,” said Sh. Sharma.
Recounting the growth of SJVN, Sharma apprised that in the latest development, the company has signed an MoU for developing 1000MW Floating Solar Power Projects in Assam. Government of Assam is also keen in allocating new Ground Mounted Solar, Hydro & Pumped Storage Projects in the state to SJVN.
Nand Lal Sharma said that the recent progressive transformation of SJVN can be summed up as ‘PARIKALPAVALI’ as the company is emerging as a major power entity with the portfolio of more than 42,000 MW. He exhorted SJVNites to recommit themselves to empower the nation with green, clean and affordable energy which in turn will achieve our Shared Vision of becoming 5000 MW by 2023, 25000 MW by 2030 and 50000 MW company by 2040.
On this occasion Geeta Kapur, Director (Personnel), all Head of Departments and employees posted at Corporate office, Shimla were physically present. The event was virtually attended by Head of Projects/CEOs and employees posted at different projects & locations of SJVN across India and in neighboring countries of Nepal & Bhutan.
