Solan
The Literary and Debate Society of LR Institute recently organised a debate competition which provided a platform for students from various departments to engage in thought-provoking discussions. The event was chaired by Akriti Ghajta and vice-chairman by Nishant Sharma.
The honourable guests on the occasion included Mr Satyan, a dedicated Swachhata Grahi at Shiksha Kranti NGO, Solan, who has been promoting cleanliness as a national value for over 16 years. Assistant Professor of Engineering Department Mrs Shikha Bali and Assistant Professor of Education Department Mrs Megha Thakur were also present on the occasion.
The competition was enthusiastically attended by students who showcased their debating skills in both English and Hindi languages. The topics for the debate were carefully selected to encourage students to think critically and communicate effectively.

Hindi Debate

– Best Speaker in Support of the Motion: 1. Saksham (Law) 2. Nisha (Management) 3. Gokul (B. Tech)
– Best Teams: 1. Law Department 2. Management & B. Tech 3. Polytechnic
Present on the occasion were Mrs. Shachi Singh, Director, Prof. Dr. P.P. Sharma, Director Academics, and Mrs. Kanchan Bala Jaswal, Principal Polytechnic also made their presence felt.
