Mahamaya Bala Sundari Ashwin Navratri Fair to be organized from 22 September to 07 October

Nahan, August 14 – North India’s famous Shri Mahamaya Bala Sundari Ashwin Navratri Fair will start from 22 September in Trilokpur and will continue till 07 October 2025. A meeting was organized under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Sirmaur and Commissioner Temple Trust Trilokpur Priyanka Verma to review the various arrangements related to the organization of the fair. MLA Nahan Ajay Solanki was specially present in this review meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the temple trust is making efforts to provide every possible facility to the pilgrims during the Ashwin Navratri fair. He instructed the officials of the Public Works Department to ensure timely repair of the main road from Kala Amb to Trilokpur and other connecting roads to Trilokpur. He instructed the officials of the temple trust and government departments to ensure compliance with the decisions taken in the meeting so that the fair can be organized successfully.
For organizing the fair, SDM Nahan will be the Chief Fair Officer, Tehsildar Nahan will be the Fair Officer and DSP Nahan will be the Fair Police Officer for law and security arrangements. He said that for effective management of the fair, the fair area will be divided into four sectors and duty magistrates and police officers will be appointed in each sector.
He said that CCTV cameras will be installed during the fair for the safety of the passengers. Adequate number of police personnel will be deployed for law and order and traffic management during the fair. Apart from this, security personnel of Home Guard and private security agencies will be deployed on temporary basis to maintain law and order. He said that during the fair, traffic arrangements will be made in such a way that the local residents of Trilokpur do not have to face any inconvenience.
In the meeting, cleanliness during the fair was also discussed in detail. Apart from this, traffic control from Kala Amb to Trilokpur, alternative route arrangement, establishment of information center, emergency services, health system, food security and availability of clean drinking water, decoration and electrification of the fair area, transport facility and vehicle parking and disaster management were also discussed.
He said that during the fair, Bhandara will be organised only at selected Bhandara places.
Sub-divisional Magistrate Nahan and Joint Commissioner Temple Trust Trilokpur Rajiv Sankhyan presented the items sequentially.
After this, details of income-expenditure and various activities of the temple trust were also presented.
