Hamirpur, September 28
The BJP is steadily gaining ground in Sujanpur. The continuous outreach and grassroots influence of senior state BJP spokesperson and former Sujanpur MLA Rajendra Rana has led to a surge in people leaving the Congress and joining the BJP. In this context, during a program held in Kakariyar, Gram Panchayat Narsi, in the Sujanpur Assembly constituency, on Sunday, Sukhdev Singh, former Pradhan of Narsi Panchayat, former Congress Seva Dal President, and Congress Scheduled Caste Department President, along with his wife, former BDC member Meera Devi, and over 50 supporters, left the Congress and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Senior spokesperson and former MLA Rajendra Rana and Bamsan Tony Devi Mandal President Prof. Bikram Rana were specially present on the occasion.
The joining of such a large group, including Sukhdev Singh, to the BJP is being considered another major political boost for Rajendra Rana in Sujanpur.
Addressing the event, Rajendra Rana stated that the people of the state have become completely disillusioned with the Congress government due to its misgovernance, anti-people policies, and blatant breach of promises made to the public. He sharply remarked that the Congress government had promised lofty dreams to come to power, but now the public is receiving only inflation, unemployment, and corruption. This is why people are increasingly abandoning the Congress and joining the BJP.
On this occasion, before the program began, Rajendra Rana, along with the large crowd, listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popular program “Mann Ki Baat.” During the program, the Honorable Prime Minister called for the purchase of Khadi clothing on Gandhi Jayanti, October 2nd. He also encouraged the adoption and purchase of indigenous products during the upcoming festivals under the VocalForLocal campaign. Let us all join this campaign and strengthen the resolve for a self-reliant and self-reliant India.
