A sports program was organized on the occasion of Major Dhyan Chand National Sports Day at IEC University located at Atal Shiksha Kunj. On this occasion, various sports activities like table tennis, volleyball, tug of war and cross country race were organized. Students participated in these games with enthusiasm and won many prizes.
On this occasion, Chairman of Hindustan Scout and Guide Himachal Rajesh Dalal ji, who was specially present, motivated the students towards sports and highlighted the importance of sports in student life and flagged off the race.
In this program, all the teachers and non-teaching staff including Registrar of IEC University Dr. Pralhad Gupta were also present.
He wished everyone on National Sports Day and paid tribute to Major Dhyan Chand.
