The police of Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh have got a big success. Manali police of Kullu have arrested four accused with a chitta of Rs 15 lakh. A pistol has also been found from them.
According to the information, Manali police had received secret information that some smugglers are present near Volvo bus stand Manali. During this time, the number of Batala number of Batala in Gurdaspur, Punjab was searched, the police got 258.750 grams of Chitta (heroin), a pistol (Marka KGF made in usa), two live rounds and a magazine. The four accused in the car were arrested on the spot.
The accused were identified by Sanjay Kumar (40) Siddhpur, Dharampur, District Mandi (HP), Harmohit Deep Singh (22), Village Jahadpur, Jatosarja, Tehsil Batala, Gurdaspur (Punjab), Krishna Singh alias Manish (29), resident of village Astronomy, Post Office Danapur, District Patna (Bihar), which is in Jalandhar (Punjab). Apart from this, Mandeep Singh (30) residents of village Jahandpur, Post Office Jatosarja, Tehsil Batala, District Gurdaspur (Punjab) have also been arrested.
