The national highway is still closed due to heavy landslides near Dwada and Jhalogi on the Mandi-Kullu national highway. Due to this, passengers are facing a lot of trouble.
According to officials, it may take about 6-7 hours to restore the national highway. Provided there are no further landslides. An alternate route for passengers, the Kataula-Kamand road, has also been blocked near Kanoh, worsening the situation. This bypass route is estimated to be restored in about 2 hours for light vehicles.
Travellers have been advised to check traffic updates before traveling and avoid using alternate routes until they are completely cleared.
