The Himachal Pradesh Milk Federation will make sugar-free hygienic sweets available in the market on Diwali. Sugar-free sweets will be made from pure Desi ghee, which can be eaten by people suffering from diabetes. Sugar-free coconut barfi is being prepared for diabetes patients on Diwali. Apart from this, Milk Federation will also make available Gulab Jamun, Angoori Petha, Rasgulla, Chamcham and Rasbhari sweets in the market on Diwali. This time Milked will also make available milk cake, coconut barfi and Pahadi barfi.
As per the demand of the customers, 400 gram sweets will be made available in small packs. This time, Milkfed will also provide digital payment facility to the customers. Sweets will be made available in Mandi Unit, Duttnagar Rampur Unit, Shimla Unit, Kangra Unit, Nalagarh Unit, Nahan Unit and Solan Unit of the state. Milkfed Marketing Manager Dr. Sandeep Thakur said that on the instructions of the state government, Milkfed will make sweets made from pure Desi Ghee available in the market on Diwali. This time sugar-free sweets will also be made available. Maltitol and fructooli go saccharides will be used for artificial sweetness instead of sugar for sweetness in sugar-free sweets.
