MLA Arki Sanjay Awasthi today inaugurated the three-day state level Sairotsav Arki with ritualistic worship and Jhotha pujan, a symbol of prosperity, at the historic and ancient Maa Kali temple in Arki.
On this occasion, Sanjay Awasthi performed puja at the ancient Maa Kali temple and wished for a happy and prosperous life for the people of the state.
The MLA then wished everyone a Happy Sairotsav. He said that Sairotsav is a symbol of faith of the people of the state including Arki. He said that this festival inspires us to move ahead continuously.
Sanjay Awasthi said that fairs are not only a symbol of our culture, tradition and folk life. Our fairs, festivals and celebrations are also important links in strengthening mutual brotherhood and harmony in the society.
The MLA said that at present Himachal Pradesh is again suffering from natural disaster. He said that the state government is discharging its duties honestly and is making every possible effort to deal with the disaster so that the affected areas and people can be provided quick relief. The state government is carrying out relief and rehabilitation work with limited resources. He expressed hope that with the cooperation of the people, the lives of the affected people can be brought back on track through relief and rehabilitation work.
