Shimla 10 September. Former President of District Shimla BJP Organization Prem Thakur has expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi for providing an amount of Rs 1500 crore for natural disaster relief in the state. He said that Modi did an aerial survey of the disaster-affected areas of Himachal Pradesh and saw the devastation here with his own eyes and taking the pain of the flood-affected people of the state to heart, immediately announced a relief amount of Rs 1500 crore, which is a very big thing.
He said that the Prime Minister of the country and the top leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party have not only shared the pain and suffering of the people of the state by adopting a liberal attitude, but have also tried to rehabilitate the poor people whose homes were damaged by the floods. Prem Thakur urged the state CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu to ensure that the relief amount released by the Center is delivered to the affected people correctly and transparently so that the needy people can get relief.
He said that the liberal manner in which the Prime Minister has announced disaster relief funds for the state has proved that the country needs such a liberal leadership which can understand the pain of the common people and the suffering society as its own. He said that due to this liberal thinking of Narendra Modi, he has a distinct identity across the world today.
