Moksh Media Services, CEO, Vimal Sharma congratulated Saurabh Duggal-Nagarkoti-Sharma panel for winning eight time in Chandigarh Press Club Poll.
Independent journalist Saurabh Duggal won President election by defeating Nalin Acharya of Him Prabha with the margin of 38 votes.
A total of 624 votes out of the 733 eligible voters cast votes, with a poll percentage of 85, a record polling in the recent past, Returning Officer Vishal Gulati told the media.
For the post of senior vice-president, 349 votes were polled for Umesh Sharma of News18 who defeated photojournalist Pankaj Sharma by a margin of 83 votes. This was his fifth consecutive win.
For the post of secretary general, Rajinder Nagarkoti of Times of India retained the post by defeating Rakesh Gupta of ANB News by a margin of 151 votes, the highest winning margin. This was Nagarkoti’s sixth consecutive win.
For the post of vice-president I, Neha Sharma of PTC defeated Archna Sethi of Punjab Kesri by 36 votes. For the post of vice-president II, Dushyant S Pundir of The Tribune got elected by defeating Rajinder Dhawan of Dainik Tribune by 46 votes.
Rajesh Dhall of Dainik Jagran is the new Treasurer by defeating Ravi Kumar Atwal of Dainik Bhaskar by 47 votes.
Karnail S Rana of Punjab Kesari was elected as secretary; Mansa Ram Rawat of Punjabi Tribune was elected as the joint secretary I; and greenhorn Shreyasi Thakur of The Tribune was elected as joint secretary II.
