Solan-based Shoolini University and Panchkula-based Vivek IAS Career Academy today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to train students for civil services and other competitive examinations.
The agreement was signed to encourage the exchange of high-end career related training programmes and the sharing of knowledge between the two signatories.
Vice Chancellor Prof PK Khosla said that the high quality training provided by experienced mentors of the Academy would greatly benefit all the aspirants who propose to appear for competitive examinations.
He said that the University also proposes to start a branch of the Academy in the Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management (SILB) for the benefit of residents of Solan and nearby areas.
Mentor to the Vivek IAS Career Academy and Visiting Professor at Shoolini University, Mr Vivek Atray, who is a former IAS officer, said the students of Shoolini University and the whole of Himachal Pradesh will benefit from this tie up. “I am hopeful that a large number of potential IAS and other civil services officers will be trained by Vivek IAS Career Academy and Shoolini University will be trained as a result of this partnership”, he added.
