Mrs Saroj Khosla, founder president and trustee of the Foundation for Liberal Sciences and Business Management (FLSBM), which runs Shoolini University and Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences Business Management (SILB) has been honoured with the Academic Excellence Award for 2020.
The award has been given by Adoption of Social Media in Academia (ASMA), the leading global community of Academia, at an online conclave on Saturday.
“Your leadership in the field of education is extraordinary” said the citation presented to Mrs Khosla as part of its initiative on the “trailblazing women leaders in Indian education”.
A Post Graduate from Oxford University, United Kingdom, Mrs Khosla is an educationist with vast experience in administering educational organisations.
She also addressed the virtual gathering on “how women leaders foster an atmosphere of innovation in the Indian educational landscape”.

The conclave also talked about the success stories of women leaders in education and some of the ways in which women can build successful organisations through innovative leadership. As women continue to take up leadership roles in every sector of society, many women leaders have successfully made the journey from educators, to entrepreneurs, to educational leaders. Celebrating their journey and success stories can help inspire others to follow in their footsteps, said the organisers.
