Jaypee University of Information Technology commenced the much-anticipated tech fest named MURIOUS 18.0, a three-day extravaganza brimming with technological innovation, creative expression, and spirited competition.
The inaugural day unfolded with a traditional lamp lighting by Hon. Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Kumar Sharma, Registrar Maj Gen Rakesh Bassi, Dean of Academics Prof. Dr. Ashok Kumar Gupta and coordinators of Tech club of JYC, marking the official commencement of MURIOUS and setting the stage for the excitement and festivities to follow. Prof Shruti Jain, Associate Dean Innovations and Dr. Naveen Jaglan also joined the ceremony along with other dignitaries. Captivating array of activities were also designed to captivate and engage attendees from diverse backgrounds.
As the day progressed, attendees delved deeper into the realms of technology and innovation with the commencement of Expanse 3.0, an immersive showcase highlighting the latest advancements across various technological domains. Simultaneously, Rotaract club of Waknaghat orchestrated the Mystic Fair, a captivating exhibition offering participants a tantalising glimpse into mystical and cultural experiences. Meanwhile, Make it Print provided enthusiasts with the opportunity to explore the cutting-edge realm of 3D printing technology, igniting their creativity and imagination.
For gaming fans, the day brought intense battles and thrilling moments with tournaments such as FIFA and Tekken, which continued well into the night, keeping the competitive spirit alive and the adrenaline pumping, against the backdrop of these exhilarating competitions, music enthusiasts gathered for Jamming (Bandish) organised by Omega Leo Club, an evening of harmonious melodies and collaborative creativity, uniting musicians and music lovers alike in a celebration of the universal language of music.
