NAS 108 emergency services completed 10years of operations in Himachal Pradesh. A total 1441739 emergencies have been served in last 10 years.
Seeing over a decade, 108 ambulances have attended nearly 15lakh emergencies, providing health service, providing police services to 33 k calls and providing fire related services to over 9000 calls. Today an average of 3,000 to 3,500 patients are attended on a daily basis,” said an EMRI official.
Officials added that during the pandemics,there is an active deployment whereas 198 ambulances have been dedicated in the feet of NAS.
Six bike ambulance two in each Shimla,Mandi,Dharmshala is being provided within the state, official added.
However,the services of NAS 108 are being operated in partnership with GVK EMRI since 2020.
