National Lok Adalat will be organized on 13th September, 2025 in the District and Sessions Court Solan Complex and Kandaghat, Arki, Kasauli and Nalagarh Court Complex. This information was given here today by Akanksha Dogra, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Solan.
Akanksha Dogra said that various cases will be settled in the National Lok Adalat on the basis of compromise. Criminal compoundable offences, cheque bounce cases, motor vehicle challan cases, money recovery cases etc. will be heard and settled in the Lok Adalat.
He said that apart from this, cases related to road accident claims, labour disputes, electricity and water bills, matrimonial disputes, land acquisition, salaries, allowances and retirement would be heard and settled in the Lok Adalat.
Secretary of District Legal Services Authority Solan said that the cases which have not been filed in the court till now, such cases will also be settled in Lok Adalat. She said that Lok Adalat saves time and money. There is no court fee in Lok Adalat and the court fee of the old case is refunded. No party is punished in Lok Adalat.
He said that any interested person can apply on plain paper to the District Legal Services Authority Office Solan and all the courts of the district for settlement of their cases before September 13, 2025. Application can also be made in the court in which the case is pending.
