Dr. Manisha Kaushal, Senior Scientist, Department of Food Science and Technology of Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni brought laurels to the university by bagging the best oral presentation award in Meghalaya.
Dr. Manisha received a certificate of award for the Best Oral Presentation for presenting the research paper during the recently held International Conference on Agriculture in Hilly and Mountain Landscape: An Interdisciplinary Perspective at the College of Post Graduate Studies in Agricultural Sciences, Umaim, Meghalaya. The conference was organized by Central Agriculture University, Imphal and the Indian Society of Agricultural Economics, Mumbai.
Dr Manisha’s paper was on the topic ‘Development of therapeutic potential confectionary products supplemented with ginger, honey and plum’ which was authored by her and Dr. Devina Vaidya. There were a total of 150 oral presentations and 88 poster presentations under different sessions during the conference.
