A career guidance seminar was organized at Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar Horticulture and Forestry University , Nauni. In this seminar , career related topics were discussed and suggestions and guidelines were given to the students of BSc Horticulture, Forestry, Natural Agriculture and BTech Food Technology .
The chief guest of the seminar was the Dean of Student Welfare of the University, Dr. Hari Paul Sankhyan. It was organized by the Head of the Department of Food Science and Technology , Dr. Rakesh Sharma and the Head of Placement Cell, Dr. Rashmi Chaudhary in collaboration with the Student Welfare Association.
As a guest speaker in the seminar, Inspiring Agricon Director Revati Raman gave detailed guidance to the students on the current trends , opportunities and preparation strategies of competitive examinations. She motivated the students to choose the right career path. On this occasion, Satish Thakur and Saurav Gautam of Inspiring Agricon team also lectured the students on the strategies to succeed in competitive examinations.
A quiz competition was also organized as part of the seminar , in which more than 300 students participated enthusiastically. The winners were given cash prizes. Payal Malhotra won the first prize of 2500. Suryansh won the second prize of 1500 rupees and Ishita Sharma won 1000 rupees He won the third prize of .
The enthusiasm of the students in this seminar was commendable and this event proved to be an important step towards building the future of the students.
