A workshop was organized by Wildlife Division Forest Department for the field officers and officials of Wildlife Division on Wildlife Photography Filming and various ways to know about the species of birds and wild plants at Conference Hall Talend Shimla.
The workshop was inaugurated by R Lalnan Sanga , Additional Principal Chief Inspector of Finance.Anil Thakur , Additional Principal Chief Conservator, said that wildlife photography, video making, recording the species of birds and wild vegetation also play an important role in the conservation of wildlife, so all the participants should learn from this workshop and use it in their respective workplaces. Go and try the different methods taught.
Abhinav Kumar ji, a famous wildlife photographer of India, made all the participants aware of the various methods of wildlife photography.
Dr. Anil Thakur ji, forest botanist, apprised all the divisions about various methods of identifying and recording forest flora species.
In the program, Mr. Dev Raj Kaushal, Chief Conservator of Wildlife Circle, Shimla, Mr. Anish Sharma ji, Deputy Conservator of Forest, Ravi Shankar Deputy Conservator of Wildlife Circle, Shimla,Renu Sehjal ji, Divisional Forest Officer, Praveen Sharma ji, Divisional Forest Officer and Mrs. Sheetal Sharma ji. Forest Division Officer and other officers and employees of Wildlife Division were present.
