Courtesy of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Shimla, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, a program was organized today on the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay at Dhami Public School. This program was presided over by Nitish Kumar, National Youth Volunteer of Basantpur development block of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Shimla .
Giving information, District Youth Officer of Nehru Yuva Kendra Shimla, Manisha Sharma said that the program started by offering flowers on the portrait of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. During the program, Principal of the local school, Seema Rani, told the youth and children about the struggles in the life of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay and also told how we can learn from his life. In this program, the principles of Integral Humanism and Antyodaya of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya were discussed by the youth.
About 45 youth and children participated in this program . Apart from this, “ Cleanliness is Service ” program is also being run in the entire district by Nehru Yuva Kendra, the aim of which is to make people aware about cleanliness.
