A new policy is being considered for teacher recruitment in the state. There will be no new policy like guest teacher recruitment. Academics are also being brainstormed to formulate a new policy. While answering the question of BJP MLA Hansraj during the Question Hour in the Assembly House, the Chief Minister said that about 6500 posts of teachers are to be filled in the state soon.
The process of batchwise recruitment for about 2500 posts is in the final stage. The remaining posts will be filled through the Commission. BJP MLA went to file nomination of party candidate Harsh Mahajan for Rajya Sabha elections during Question Hour.
BJP MLAs returned to the House about two minutes before the end of the Question Hour. As soon as the Speaker of the Assembly called the name of Education Minister Rohit Thakur to answer the question of the BJP MLA, the Minister was not in his seat. On this the opposition members started creating ruckus.
On this, the Chief Minister pacified the opposition by answering in place of the Education Minister. On the other hand, earlier while answering the question of Congress MLA from Indora Malendra Rajan, Education Minister Rohit Thakur said that to fill 585 posts of spokespersons through direct recruitment, written examination will be conducted through the Commission in March.
