A spokesman of the state government has strongly denounced the news appearing in a section of media regarding Chief Secretary and Secretary Health being allegedly Covid-19 positive.
The spokesman said that the news was baseless and beyond the facts. Chief Secretary Anil Khachi and Secretary Health Amitabh Awasthi both are in home quarantine being primary contact of a positive officer strictly as per the Covid-19 protocol.
He said that the actual position would be cleared only after a day or two when both these officers would be tested. He said that such news was unfortunate, uncalled and misleading and social media is urged not to spread such rumours.
