National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Kangra is currently celebrating its three day annual cultural festival, Spectrum 2023, he event started on March 2 and would end on March 4, 2023.
The theme of this year’s festival is CYBORG, reflecting the college’s commitment to embracing the future and amalgamating it with fashion, aiding diversity and promoting creative expression.
The festival brings together students from various colleges and universities, providing them with a platform to showcase their talent and creativity through a wide variety of cultural, literary, sport and artistic events. The festival will include music, dance, theatre, literature, and art competitions.
The fest is open to all college students, encouraging participation. The festival promises to be a platform for students to not only showcase their creativity but also to connect with other students from diverse backgrounds, exchange ideas, and celebrate their unique identities. Each day of the festival ends in one special performance such as the Battle of the Bands headlined by Free Beer, a fashion show today judged by Shri Naveen Tanwar, IAS, SDM Kangra, culminating in the Alumni meet and a musical performance by Arjun Amori, from Manali, tomorrow.
In sports, volleyball matches are to be played between Rajiv Gandhi Government Engineering College Nagrota Bagwan and NIFT Kangra teams during the Spectrum.
A Battle of band competition was held during the Spectrum last evening. Participants team’s are from Lovely Professional University and NIFT Kangra.
