Nodal Agency Bhakra Beas Management Board has organized painting competition on “Energy Conservation” in 21 schools of UT Chandigarh. The competition was organised in such a manner that it measure all the pandemic COVID situation.
In this competition about 3000 students of Chandigarh participated in both Groups i.e. Group –A (Class – 5th to 7th) and Group – B (Class 8th to 10th). The children painted their creative ideas on the given subjects with colors on the drawing sheets to convey the message of conserving energy. Like every year, Bhakra Beas Management Board and B.E.E. this year also spread awareness among the people towards energy conservation by painting the theme of Energy Efficient India and Cleaner Planet with the help of children.
The children with full enthusiasm have brought their ideas in the competition in such a way that it has become a challenging task for the selection committee to select the winners.
On the completion of 75 years of India’s independence, Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav campaign of independence concluded with full enthusiasm in the Union Territory of Chandigarh. Nodal Officer of this campaign, Balvir Singh Sinhmar thanked the children, teachers and the organizing team for making this competition a successful.
