Objections Can Be Submitted Within 7 Days

Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal has issued a notification regarding the delimitation of electoral constituencies (wards) under Zila Parishad Chamba by exercising the powers conferred under the Himachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj Election Rules 1994.
As per the notification, objections or suggestions regarding the proposed delimitation of 18 wards under Zila Parishad Chamba — Karyas, Sanwal, Chanju, Khani, Kilod, Sunara, Kariyan, Bakhtpur, Motla, Samot, Banet, Nainikhad, Udaipur, Sarol, Chaklu, Karwal, Byana and Sanuuh — can be submitted by any individual within seven days. No objections will be entertained after the stipulated time period.
The delimitation list will be available for public inspection at the offices of the District Panchayat Officer and Secretary, Zila Parishad, as well as at the offices of all Block Development Officers and Gram Panchayat Secretaries.
