Deputy Commissioner Sirmaur Priyanka Verma issued a press release informing that as per the notification of Himachal Pradesh Government, it is proposed to declare Sangrah area as Nagar Panchayat Sangrah for better development and systematic management, for which objections and suggestions have been sought from the general public and stakeholders of the concerned area.
He said that objections or suggestions regarding this proposal should be submitted in writing to the Deputy Commissioner’s office or the concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrate or Block Development Office by August 21, 2025.
He said that this is an important opportunity through which local citizens can give their opinion on the proposed administrative changes. The Deputy Commissioner has requested the residents of the area to submit their objections and suggestions before the prescribed date.
