Online application for 2 fair price shops till September 24

Hamirpur 25 July. Online applications have been invited till September 24 for one fair price shop each to be opened under the public distribution system in Kashiri village of Duhak Gram Panchayat of Sujanpur development block and Jaroh village of Hanoh Gram Panchayat of Bhoranji development block.
District Food Supply Controller Shiv Ram said that interested persons or institutions can apply for these shops till September 24 on the website emerginghimachal.hp.gov.in .
The District Controller said that for the allotment of fair price shops, first priority will be given to public institutions such as local panchayat, self-help group, cooperative society, women and their groups. If more than one institution applies in a ward, then the registered institution will be given preference.
The second priority for shop allotment will be given to widow or single woman, handicapped person who is capable of running a shop, ex-serviceman or unemployed person. Whereas, Himachal Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited will be given the third priority.
The minimum educational qualification for application is Matriculation pass. Verified documents related to matriculation certificate, certificate related to higher educational qualification, financial status, availability of shop and storage capacity should be uploaded with the application. In case of ex-servicemen or educated unemployed, there should be a certificate that no other member of the family is in regular government employment. Family members of Panchayati Raj institutions, municipal bodies, assembly and parliament members will not be eligible for these shops. The age of the applicant should be between 18 to 45 years. An applicant who has his own flour mill or mill and has been punished or declared bankrupt under the Essential Commodities Act-1955 will not be eligible to apply.
