Now make slip in one minute through Abha mobile app
In Himachal Pradesh’s largest hospital (IGMC), patients no longer need to stand in long queues to make slips. Patients and attendants will be able to make a slip in just one minute through the ‘Abha Mobile’ app at the slip counter on the second floor of the New OPD. The hospital has started this facility of management HMIS (Hospital Management and Information System) in the hospital. For this, a special counter has also been opened in the new OPD by the hospital management, in which patients will be able to easily make slips through Abha mobile app. For this, the hospital management and the hospital IT staff and officers are also making the patients aware by visiting the counter and telling them how they can make the slip in just one to two minutes without standing in the queue. An employee of IGMC, who was making the patients aware about Abha App at the prescription counter, said that the government and the hospital management have started a new facility for the patients. Due to which the slip will be generated in just one minute.
The patient coming to IGMC will have to download ‘Abha App’ from Android or Apple mobile for the process of making slip through Abha mobile app. You will have to login to this mobile app with your mobile number or Aura number. Due to which Abha mobile app will be activated.
Token number will have to be generated by scanning the scan code installed on the counter.
After the mobile app is activated, scan codes have been installed by the management on the slip counter. On scanning the scan code through the app, a token number will be generated. This token number will have to be given to the employee sitting at the special slip counter and it will have to be told in which department the test is to be done. The employee will prepare a slip on this. This process will not take more than a minute and the slip will be generated.
Such facility will be available in other hospitals including AIIMS Bilaspur.
Under the Health Department and Hospital Management HMIS (Hospital Management and Information System), this facility will be available in other hospitals including IGMC, AIIMS Bilaspur, KNH of Shimla, DDU including Rampur, Theog. In future, slips will be made through this process in hospitals including IGMC. At present, the slip is being made in both the ways in IGMC, in which the slip is being made after the employee fills the name, mobile number, name of husband or father and other details including department in the slip counter as before. In this, it is taking more time to prepare each slip and one has to stand in the queue for hours, but now it will be easier to prepare the slip with Aabha mobile app.
