Under the program funded by National Center for Organic and Natural Farming , Ghaziabad , Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Solan organized a two-day training camp for the agriculture officers of the district in which 20 participants participated.
Program Coordinator Dr. Seema Thakur Told that in this program, Dr. Ruchi Soni and Mr. Ravi from National Center for Organic and Natural Farming, Ghaziabad informed the officials about organic and natural farming and the projects being run by the Centre. In-charge of Agricultural Science Center , Dr. Jitendra Chauhan called upon the officials to encourage farmers towards organic and natural farming.
center scientists Dr. Seema Thakur , Dr. Rajesh Thakur , Dr. Anurag Sharma and Dr. Meera demonstrated in detail to the officials the process of making suitable inputs in natural farming. Dr. Kuldeep Thakur, Principal Scientist in the Department of Vegetable Science from Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar Horticulture and Forestry University , Nauni, advised the officials about natural farming . And while giving training on organic farming, he said that along with inspiring them to adopt organic farming, the officials also need to give knowledge to the farmers about the process of organic certification. Emphasizing on natural farming, he stressed upon the officials to encourage the farmers.
