The HP State Department of Labour, Employment, and Overseas Placement, in a written communiqué, has stated that Himachal Pradesh has received details of vacancies in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from EFS Facilities Services India Private Limited, a recruiting agency registered with the Ministry of External Affairs.
This follows the state government’s continuous efforts to open up job opportunities for its youth abroad. He said that these vacancies have been offered by EFS Facilities Services India Private Limited as authorized by the Ministry of External Affairs. This includes jobs at a nuclear power plant in Baraka, a real estate Provis school in Abu Dhabi, and Bike delivery services in Dubai.
The communiqué states that the job includes both technical and non-technical roles, requiring candidates aged between 21 and 45 years. For posts at the nuclear power plant in Abu Dhabi and a real estate company ‘Provis school’, requires skills such as electrician, carpenter, plumber, machine operator and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Mason, Painters with basic English speaking skills. These vacancies also call for basic qualifications, i.e. 10th grade pass out. The salaries for above skills range from AED 1000 to 5000, i.e. from Rs. 23 thousand to Rs. 1,14,450 in age group between 21 and 40 years. The candidates for technical and Non-technical will also be provided accommodation but no other conditional allowances.
Bike riders for delivery aged between 21 and 45 were also being recruited with essential qualifications, i.e. matriculation, having driving license and a valid passport. They will get salary of AED 1500, i.e. Rs. 34,000 per month and other conditional allowances of AED 1170, i.e. Rs. 26,000. Besides, additional benefits, including accommodation, a bike, petrol and a food allowance, will be given during the two-month training period. The Bike riders will be under contract for two years.
Apart from this, candidates will have to undergo training for two months and will be provided Rs. 7000 food allowance during the training.
The interested candidates are advised to contact their District Employment Officers with relevant documents, including resumes and passports, within a week for further processing with the recruiting agent.
